I have been personally affected by this trek in a positive manner as for the first time I found people to be more cordial and not thanking there company would be an insult to decency.
Further this trek has little to recreate alone, perhaps due to excellent company I had, I feel it will be hard to do it alone and finally a lot happened on this trek that I refuse to remove from my memory.
This was also the first time I was without Happy, the first time I was unhappy by many changes India Hikes have put in and a lot more.
So this time it will not be a chronological presentation of facts, but my experience as they come to my memory.
So sit back, relax and and let us go on for this ride!
I was happy but a bit scared on the summit. We had finally made it, all of us! We had even celebrated a birthday. However to my mind strange orders were being given.
To Summit we go!

I was also worried about my right knee, it had helped me climb till now magnificently but now the real test was about to start, I had to go down and my knee could give up.
Finally I was worried for our group was relatively slow and inexperienced, what if the weather turned on us?
On Summit!

It all Started
I fail to remember when it all started but it was around November of 2015, when Aakash, Abhilasha and I were looking at possible treks and dates. It seemed after quite a debate that January will be feasible and we should do Brhamtal. It would be first winter trek for the two of them.

Purchases were made, down jackets were bought candy was distributed, cheeses were eaten and we were finally on a train to Kathgodam.
By coincidence we shared our compartment with two fellow trekkers Sandeep and Manju who claimed to be married and happy [sic.].
All I remember is sleeping next and waking up as we neared Kathgodam.
Hi, do you have a gpx file of the brahmatal trek?
