There were two of us Happy and I. Happy had been trekking for quite a while and and I was practically a newbie, well last time I did trekking it was 15 years ago and external frame packs were quite common.
I wanted to do a simple easy little more than a stroll kind of trek. We had many treks on our mind and we zeroed on to either Khir Ganga or Chandrakhani pass.
We dropped Khir Ganga because we had only 4 days with us and we thought it would be best to do it as a part of larger Pin-Parvati trek when we can.
So the two of went ahead got ourselves a guide and booked bus tickets for Manali.
Our Guide Budhi discussed our plan and we agreed upon four day trek with all logistics like cook, tent, groceries, porters being arranged by him and we would meet him at a place called Nagar Chawk in the small town of Nagar before Manali.
